Teaching Artist

Creative Drama Summer Workshop at The Discovery Center Museum; Binghamton, NY
I have been lucky enough to wear many hats in the theatre, including that of educator, actor, director, designer, and playwright. I received my B.A. in Theatre Performance and History from the State University of New York at Geneseo, and in 2007, became the co-founder and artistic director of The Charlottesville Women's Theatre Project, a company that seeks to create theatre relevant to the female experience. Currently, I serve as the Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of The Perpetual Visitors Theatre Company, a Boston based company dedicated to fostering community and conversation through documentary theatre.
I recently earned my M.A. in Theatre Education from Emerson College in Boston, MA, where I have also served as the Graduate Assistant to Dr. Christina Marin and Professor Robbie McCauley. During my time at Emerson, I was fortunate to be the student teacher at Malden High School, serving a culturally diverse urban student body within the Performing Arts and Language Arts departments.
I have worked with ages 3 through 70 in a variety of settings, including Emerson College, Harvard University, The Discovery Center, the South End Settlements, the Park Street School, Boston Children's Theatre, and Malden High School. In addition, I have hold a Massachusetts State Teaching License for Theatre, All Levels.
